Our Mission
We are a growing African mining company, aiming to drive growth in the sector and improve economic development by leveraging mineral resources.
We are mining operators having had the acquisition of Mineral Assets of the Nigerian Federal Government under its policy of Divestment from its Enterprises. We have carried out detailed exploration, reserves estimation, mine planning, development and operations in conjunction with some of its foreign and local consultants and partners on the acquired resources.
About the CEO
Gallio Dagu graduated from Mining Engineering from Camborne School of Mines, U.K and the Governance and sustainability programme at the University of Oxford, U.K
He has about 40 years cognate experience in the mining industry. He is a fellow of Nigerian Society of Mining Engineers (FNSME), Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) and a Certified Management Consultant(CMC)
He worked with Jolly Brothers Ltd before joining the Nigerian Mining Corporation in 1980 as Chief Mining Engineer for 25 years. In 2005, he became the Privatisation Adviser to Equator Mines Limited in 2006 where he took the Company to successful bidding processes which became Core investor/preferred Bidder, and acquired Nigerian Tin and Allied Minerals Products Limited, a 100% subsidiary of the Nigerian Mining Corporation along with other Mineral Assets. He was subsequently became the Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Company, a post he holds to date for 15 years. He was a member of Plateau State Government Transition Committee and Secretary of the Sub-Committee – Mineral Development and Ecology in 1999. He was a Member, Technical and infrastructure sub committees of the Federal Government Presidential Committee on Solid Minerals Development – Seven-Year (2003-2009) Strategic Action Plan for Solid Minerals Development in 2002. He has been active on Presidential Entourages for mining trade & investment between Nigeria - South Africa, Nigeria -Namibia, and Nigeria - Kenya Business Fora between 2013-2015. He is a consultant to many companies including Minehouse Limited, U.K. He is well travelled and lives in Jos. He enjoys playing golf.
